Investment News – 3 August 2020

The Semdex Index lost 0.81% last week. LUX ISLAND RESORTS LTD was the best performer, with an increase of 7.68%, while the worst performer was NEW MAURITIUS HOTELS LTD with a loss of 7.94 %.

The Euro Stoxx 50 Index lost 4.12%, closing at 3’174.32. NOKIA OYJ was the best performing stock, increasing 9.02%, while BANCO BILBAO VIZCAYA ARGENTA was the worst performing stock, decreasing 15.40%. The index is down 15.24% so far this year.

The S&P 500 Index gained 1.73%, closing at 3’271.12. The best performer was L BRANDS INC, increasing 27.20%, while GENERAL ELECTRIC CO had the biggest loss, decreasing 11.52%. The index is up 1.25% so far this year.
