Investment News – 23 March 2020
The Semdex Index lost 16.66% last week. Almost all securities composing the index fell, with NEW MAURITIUS HOTELS LTD being the worst performer with a loss of 40%.
The Euro Stoxx 50 Index lost 1.45%, closing at 2’548.50. ORANGE was the best performing stock, increasing 15.89%, while SAFRAN SA had the biggest decline, dropping 21.45%. The index is down 31.95% so far this year.
The S&P 500 Index lost 14.98%, closing at 2’304.92. The best performer was AMCOR PLC, increasing 7.04%, while DISCOVER FINANCIAL SERVICES had the biggest loss, decreasing 51.22%. The index is down 28.66% so far this year.
